Entering a world of royalty, classical architectural details abound throughout the Castle and Cottages. Oiel de bouef windows, relieving arches with keystones, Tuscan columns, oriel and bay windows, cavetto window sills, astragal mouldings framing the doors and fenestration, are among the numerous elements adding allure to our charming royal accommodations for Expedition Members.
Each member’s Himalayan Castle Suite is elegant and supremely comfortable, enjoying a fireplace, an antique four-poster bed and armoire with exceptional views. All of the Castle and Cottage suites have operational fireplaces and ensuite marble bathrooms with shower cubicles, bathtubs, vanity mirrors and bespoke bath amenities. A preserved design scheme is integrated with contemporary facilities and enhance luxury comfort. Interspersed around the heated pool and orchard garden are eight exceptional Himalayan Cottage Suites offering brilliant and unrivalled vistas of the spectacular Manali area. Each shared duplex Cottage comprises two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms complete with marble counters and shower cubicles, drawing room, dining area, and kitchenette. For the first-floor bedroom there is a private balcony and a restored Victorian rolltop bathtub occupies a prime position in the dressing area; while the ground-floor bedroom has two twin beds, and is adjacent to the thoughtful dining room table and kitchenette coming with a stove burner, refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster, tea/coffee maker, cookware, chinaware, glassware, and cutlery. The terraced nature of the property and dispersed gardens present individual nooks and quiet grounds.
The Himalayan Castle Suites and Cottage Suites are seamless depictions of luxury and poise with immaculate polished hardwood floors and interiors replete with gracious furnishings. Complimentary bath amenities are provided from natural plant extracts and essential oils.
