Sri Sudarshan Jyotirmayananda, Founder
Sri Sudarshan J. is the founder and spiritual preceptor at SKYLIGHT YOGA School and direct disciple of the enlightened master, His Holiness Swami Jyotirmayananda, the final living disciple of the last century's most revered spiritual master from India, His Holiness Swami Sivananda. His profound insight and mystic wisdom into the teachings of Yoga Vedanta and Sanatan Dharma transforms ancient philosophy into practical guidance for the modern day. Torchbearer of the Brahmavidyas and Kailasa lineages of fully-realized sages and bearer of the title Yoga Siromani, he leads SKYLIGHT EXPEDITIONS members to physical strength, mental stability, and spiritual grace.
With a background in global sustainability, philosophy, and civil leadership, Sri Sudarshan works to empower share knowledge and empower people to unlock their hidden inner potential. He authored Attention To Yoga, a 333-page treatise on teaching Yoga and achieving Self-realization. His teachings integrate action, emotion, will, and reason to guide aspirants toward enlightenment.
Based in Miami Beach, he leads SKYLIGHT YOGA’s humanitarian efforts and consults organizations across industries, including public education, healthcare and medicine, hospitality, and tourism; while supporting shelters, orphanages, and interfaith dialogue through the Soul Commonwealth 501(c)(3) public charity and affiliated nonprofit humanitarian organizations.
